Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. His final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue, in Bushnell following the service.
He was educated in the Hillsborough County Public Schools System, and he honorably served in the United States Army. Mr. Williams, Jr. retired from the State of Florida, Hillsborough Detention Center as a Budget Cost Manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Williams, Sr. and Margie (Hepburn) Williams; and, sister, Ruth Williams of Maryland.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Virginia Williams; brother, Bobby Williams of North Carolina; sister, Josephine Triplett; sons, Dr. Lee Williams III, Victor Williams and wife, Melanie, and Vincent Williams and wife, Shegetta; daughter, Virginia Fowler; grandchildren, LeKeshia, Leroy Williams IV, Leshai and Dwayne Sanders, Victoria, Marcus, Raquel, Christian, V'Onte, V'Aire, Noah, Sean, Warrant Officer Britney, Vanessa and Asia; great grandchildren, Jayden, Aubreii, Levi, Asir and Liam.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa. (MASKS RECOMMENDED).
