Ray Freeman, 60, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, in his home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas with Pastor Cliffton McFadden, Word of Grace Worship Center, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. In lieu of visitation family will be receiving guests for a celebration cookout of the good times with Ray. It will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from 5 PM to 10 PM at 363 Pecanway Dr. Wichita Falls, TX.

Ray was born on August 30, 1961, in Statesboro, Georgia to Billy and Maggie Freeman and later moved to Texas. He married Shirley Cravens on December 8, 1995, in Holliday, Texas. He was a Pipeliner and owner and operator of S&R mowing and more. He loved God, his grandchildren, his dog Jake (State Farm), fishing, feeding birds and he especially loved his family. He touched many lives and lead them to God. He dedicated his life to serving others. He was loved by many. He will be missed by all that knew him, we will cherish all the memories and lessons taught.

He was preceded in death by parents Billy and Maggie Freeman and son in law James Killen. Surviving relative include his wife, Shirley Freeman of Wichita Falls, Texas. Daughter Kristi Freeman of Wichita Falls, Texas; Daughter Jessi Anderson and Cody Wetsel of Iowa Park, Texas; Son Billy Freeman and wife Jessica Freeman of Wichita Falls, Texas; Daughter Connie Killen of Burkburnett, Texas; Daughter Christy Dovel and husband Robert Dovel of Dalhart, Texas; Brother Michael Freeman and wife Joni Freeman of Wichita Falls, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 nephew and 1 niece.
