She volunteered at her church, especially with VBS, and was a respected member of the Luther Crest Community since moving there in 2015 and enjoyed walking the Metroparks and trips to the Zoo. She was a beloved sister and aunt. But the role in life that she loved the most was being a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother to her growing family.

Jerry will be dearly missed by her children, Karen (Jay) Hughes, Sharon (Bill) Schultz, Shirley Lee, Kathy (Greg) Stamme, Jacki (Mike) Young, and Al (Beth) Lee; grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Skidmore, Katie Hughes, Jeannie (Bart) Dietrick, Annie (Tommy) Schultz, Kim (Cyrus) Eckenberg, Andrea Schultz, David (Hanna) Schultz, Teresa (Jake) Dowling, and Ryan Young.
