Funeral services for George Franklin Farrish, 58, were held at the Wilson and Knight Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood on Saturday, January I2 at 11:00 A.M. with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton.
Mr. Farrish died at the Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson early Thursday morning, January 10. He was an employee of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Carmen Taylor Farrish of Greenwood; two daughters, Mrs. Diane F. Spellings of Greenwood and Miss Debra Farrish of Jackson; one son, George F. Farrish, Jr. of Greenwood; his mother, Mrs. Alice Farrish Stanford of Greenwood; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Killebrew, Mrs. Wilburn Hitt and Mrs. Fred Edwards all of Greenwood; and three brothers, J. E. Farrish of Vaiden, W. E. Farrish of West Point and Robert E. Farrish of Memphis.
