Lorena M. Reeves
Lorena M. Reeves passed away May 12. She and her husband Harry came to Morenci from Kansas in 1946 where they raised their three children and taught in Morenci schools. Upon retirement in 1977, they moved to Thatcher.
Lorena was an accomplished watercolorist. She managed the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Gift Shop and was an active deacon in the Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church.
She will be missed by her many friends, children and grandchildren. A memorial service was held Friday, May 21, at 10 a.m. at the Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Safford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary in Lorena's memory.
