A lifelong resident of Cleveland, he was definitely an "old soul." He loved the cars and music of the 1950s and a friend to anyone in need. His favorite activities were attending classic car shows and riding in his jeep in the mountains with his wife, Susan.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Berdine Buckner; his paternal grandmother, Frances Yarber Buckner; and his maternal grandfather, Charles Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Cooper Buckner; his parents, Kenneth Sr. and Brenda Martin Buckner; sister, Shaunda Dunn; brother, Shane Buckner; brother, Kenny Buckner, III; uncle, Eugene Buckner, and wife Linda; and his cousin, David Buckner.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
