at the Parc of Joliet. Arlene was born on November 7, 1944, in Chicago, IL and was raised by her loving parents, David and Guadelupe (nee Garcia) Widmer. She was married to the late John Joseph Cammack, and together they raised three sons, instilling in them her values, love for others, and faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior. She lives on through her sons, their spouses, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as they perpetuate Arlene's legacy through professional and personal service to their communities and the cohesive nature of their family bond.
She is survived by her three devoted sons, Steven (Sherry) Cammack of Minooka, Scott (Dawn) Cammack of the Villages, FL , and David (Sarah) Cammack of Plainfield; seven loving grandchildren, Breanna (Joshua Jansa), Cody (Amanda), Michael, Abbey, David II, Hannah, and Isabella; six great-grandchildren, Gatlin, Hudson, Avery, Olivia, Ainsley and Ezra; and her siblings, Dorothy Achey, Fran Feltz, Lydia Widmer, David (Ann) Widmer, and Timothy (Beth) Widmer. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Arlene was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Cammack (2019); and her parents.
A Memorial Service for Arlene G. Cammack will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Inurnment will take place privately by the family at Abraham Lincoln National.
