Ruth Dolores Perry Neal, 81, of Ashland went to be with her Lord Sunday December 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born December 1, 1940 in Webbville, KY a daughter of the late Lewis Oliver "Jack" and Ethel Mae Thompson Perry. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Jean Perry Webb; and three brothers, Walden Perry, Woody Perry and William "Bill" Perry. Ruth was a retired Nursing Aid having worked with Home Health and Kings Daughters. Ruth enjoyed watching westerns with her three cats, Otis, Lillie and Sassy. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Kathi (Allen) Johnson of Ashland; two brothers, Bob Perry of Ohio and Randy Perry of Ft. Walton, FL; her roommate who cared for her, Susan Jordan, two special friends, Norma Gillum and Carolyn Colburn; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson.
