Phyllis Ann Williams, 77, of Shelby, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.
Born in Lincoln County, on March 13, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Wayne Williams and Vassie Lee Houser Williams. She was retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lawndale.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Howard Williams and two sisters, Clara Pruett and Janice Cook.
She is survived by her four children, Bryan Lewis and wife Darlene of Fallston, Keith Lewis and wife Amanda of Gastonia, Pam Benfield and husband Jeff of Fallston; and Tracy Clark and husband Randy of Shelby; two brothers, Dennis Williams of Vale and Beauford Williams of NC; one sister, Della Upton of Vale; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home of Jeff and Pam Benfield, 220 Lewis Road, Lawndale, NC 28090.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Ernest W. Speagle officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
