Carolyn Overcash Graham (Margaret Carolyn Lilly), 92, passed peacefully Nov. 27, 2021.
Born in Charlotte, NC she was the only child of Dewitt Talmadge and Mattie Lou (Cline) Lilly. The family later moved to Wilmington where Carolyn graduated from Wilmington High School. She then went on to attend High Point College for two years and continued living in High Point until 1965. She married Henry Lee Overcash on April 23, 1950, and had three children – Leslie, Brantley, and Amy. In 1965 the family moved to Brandon, FL.
Carolyn shortly thereafter resumed her education at the University of South Florida where she received a BA & MA in Business Education. She taught her first year at King High School in Tampa and from 1972-1988 at Brandon & Armwood High Schools. She also taught night classes at Hillsborough Community College in Plant City and Tampa.
Her joy and devotion in life was to family, her Lord, & many friends. She enjoyed swimming, walks, dancing to big band music, traveling, snow skiing & supporting her children & grandchildren in their varied activities. She was a wonderful "connector of people" and maintained many close long-time friendships.
The love of her life was her husband of 36 years, Lloyd Graham (predeceased). Survived by Lloyd Graham Jr. (Verla), Brantley Overcash (Anne), Leslie Roquemore (James), Amy White (Tom),11 awesome grands, Caleb Graham (Danielle), Joshua Graham, Sarah Roquemore, Brian Roquemore (Queena), Daniel Roquemore (Meredith), Olivia Overcash (with our Lord), Natalie Overcash, Brantley Overcash, Jr., Rachel White, Grant White, Noah White plus one great-grandchild
