Pamela Lynn Payne, 48, of Troy, MO, passed away on November 21, 2015, what a beautiful soul. She was the child of Robert and Patricia (Spalding) Tucker. After attending the local schools, Pamela began a legacy of caring for others. In 1987, she met the love of her life, Cephus Payne. They began their family of 6, with their beloved children: Brandy, Chad, Corey, and Jodi. Shortly after they were blessed with two more children, Derek and Kati. In 1997 tragically they lost their son, Derek, age 7 years, it was at this time they began their journey of helping other children and their legacy of love. In 1998 they got married in their front yard. Though they suffered greatly with the loss of their beloved son, they wanted to share as much love as they could with other children. Pamela and Cephus fostered many, many children and then adopted 11; Ryan, Alex, Tabby, Danielle, Chris, Brianna, Nick, Marc, Jaxen, Jami, and Mariah. Pamela was an exceptionally loving mother, and truly devoted her entire life to caring for their children. She was unselfish, never thinking of herself, always of others. Whether it be a neighbor, or a complete stranger. Pamela leaves a true legacy of love, compassion, kindness, and caring.

When she had a spare moment she enjoyed, playing Yahtzee, and completing Logic Puzzles. Pamela looked forward to attending all of her children and grandchildren's sporting events, and was their number 1 fan. She really enjoyed watching her favorite television shows: Little House on the Prairie, and Dr. Quinn the Medicine Woman.
