A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ellen Spence Clem, 84, of Kershaw, will be held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Pastor Mike Morales will officiate. A private family burial at Fort Jackson National Cemetery will follow. Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

Ellen died Saturday, December, 4, 2021. Born in Sylvester, GA, she was the daughter of the late William and Odell Fowler Spence. Ellen was retired from Elliott White Springs Memorial Hospital, where she worked in medical records.

She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Morales (Mike) of Hopkins; sons Bill Clem (Becky) of Kershaw, Jerry Clem of Columbia, Matt Clem of Kershaw, and Scott Clem (Tammy) of Bonaire, GA; grandchildren Sarah Visser (Ben), Rachel Morales, Michael Morales (Chris), Brandon Clem (Caitlin), Becca Hope Clem, Storm Clem, Cage Clem, and Delaney Clem; great-grandchildren, Cooper Visser, Marley Visser, Finley Visser, Porter Visser and Miller Visser; sisters Martha Slocumb (Don), Olivia Rouse (Leonard); and brother Larry Spence (Marilyn).

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
