Peg was a beautiful, caring, and kind woman. She was married to her husband, the late Thomas J. Green, for 65 years. As a mother, Peg gave her all to her three children, to the very end. She was an avid craftsperson, creating prize-winning embroidery, jewelry, and unique gourd sculptures, giving them as gifts to her friends and family. Peg loved birds and all creatures living in her backyard, and was happiest when walking the beach in Cape May. She bore her long, final illness with patience and good humor.
Born at home in Collingdale, PA on January 29, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Smith) Guetter ("Marna") and Joseph Guetter. Surviving are her 3 daughters: Deborah A. Green of New York, NY, Nancy M. Green and her husband, Jeffrey Aron of New York, NY and Maggie Green and her husband, Frank Keirsey of Wayne, PA; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; sister, Betty Curl; and 2 brothers, Joseph and Richard Guetter.
