Joyce Adams Newman (née Williamson), 89, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on September 8, 2021. She was born in Washington, DC on April 15, 1932. Joyce graduated from Eastern High School. She was widowed in 2009 with the passing of her third husband, Paul Newman. Joyce had a career as a computer programmer with the Federal Government first with the Census Bureau and then with the US Army at Fort Lee, Virginia. She loved to travel, play cards, cook, watch football and spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Teresa Janezeck Hickman (Lance) of New Bern, NC, Timothy M. Janezeck (Brandi) of King George, VA, Donald (Rusty) S. Ingram (Laurie) of Capitola, CA and step-children: Deborah Langford of Vandalia, OH, Barbara Bledsoe (Darrell) of Shelby, OH, Steven Ingram (Nancy) of Canton, OH, Paul D. Newman (Claudia) of Pasadena, MD, Wesley Newman (Shirley) of Camden, TN, 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and her brother Edward D. Williamson (Janet) of Richardson, TX. Joyce was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Anne Wertz Anselmo in 2020, and her parents Edward D. and Bertha P. Williamson.
