Barbara J. Foster, 72, of Morris, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Born August 23, 1949 in Morris, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Davidson and Jean (Norman) Davidson.
Barbara was a graduate of Morris High School, Class of 1967. She married Donnie Wills and they raised two children together. Although their marriage did not last as long as they had hoped, they remained friends. Barbara remarried on August 25,1989 to Vernon Foster and they combined their families. Barbara worked for Sam's Club in Joliet for 22 years until her retirement. Afterwards she went to work for the Hallmark Store in Morris. Barbara had many talents including baking incredible cookies for events at the Hallmark store. She loved sewing, knitting and crafts. Loved working in the flower garden and collecting Teddy Bears and Bradford Exchange collective plate and feeding the wildlife that would visit in her yard. She was loved by all who know her and will be deeply missed by all.
Barbara is survived by her mother Jean; her loving husband of 32 years, Vernon; her loving children Dana Wills, Kelly (Troy) Householder, Lee (Lisa) Foster and Ben Foster; grandchildren Gianna and Joshua Wills, Kyle, Brady (Kameron) and Maggie Householder, and Adwen and Kirk Foster; great grandchildren Braxton, Connor, Aaron and Hadley Householder; her brother Dennis Davidson; special cousins Carol (Joe) Viano and special niece Laurie Davidson. Barbara is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and anyone who had the honor of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her father Leslie.
A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the UC Davis-Callahan Funeral Home in Morris. Aqua cremation rites will be accorded.
