Following the end of her first marriage, Bobbie Jean married Travis Andrew Norris, Sr., and moved to Strong, Arkansas in 1984. Her family grew exponentially to include an extended family of children to raise, as well as a blended family of grandkids, great grand kids, and eventually great-great grand kids. During this season in Bobbie's life, her father and mother went to be with the Lord two years apart in the late 1990s. She missed them so very much.
It was well known that Bobbie loved to cook and made the most amazing chicken and dumplings, coconut pie, chicken dressing, corn bread; well, pretty much everything! A phenomenal cook, an amazing seamstress, a bright light in a sometimes-difficult world that would not dampen her spirit: her love for Jesus shone in every aspect. Bobbie was very quick to forgive and forget any wrongdoing and unconditionally loved every person she encountered, whether reciprocated or not. She was a fun-loving, sassy girl who loved to turn summersaults as a young lady, a loving young mother who could French-braid or French-twist hair expertly, an avid deer shooting-cleaning-packaging hunter in her midlife, and a special travel-shopping-loving Mamaw in her later life who loved to read her Bible, match her clothes to her purse and jewelry, and give of herself endlessly. She was an amazing woman!
Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents and brother; stepchild, Travis Norris, Jr.; grandson, Jesse Maroney; and brother-in-law, Billy Payne. Bobbie is survived by her children Suzette and husband Johnny Rowell of Ruston, Louisiana; Willis and wife Betty Taylor of Farmerville, Louisiana; Mark and wife Trish Taylor of Ruston, Louisiana; Teresa and husband Scott Cone of Mt. Her grandchildren include Crystal and husband Matt Koop, Melissa and husband Mike Richardson, Jared Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Jason and wife Jennifer Powell, Dustin and wife Rachel Powell, as well as Josh Norris, Jordan Norris, McKenzie Norris, Tate Allen, Nathan Kingrey, and Patrick Maroney. Her great grandchildren number sixteen with an additional six great, great grands! Amazing!

No matter how difficult the obstacle, she always found and saw the good in things; Bobbie never gave up fighting to live for and please others until she stepped into eternal life with the Lord.
