Michael "Mike" Deane La Rue, 56, of Pueblo, passed away on Nov. 30, 2021. He was born June 24, 1965, in Wabash, Ind., to Terry Deane and Carolyn Gotchall La Rue, and was preceded in death by his father.
Michael graduated from Palmer High School (Colorado Springs) in 1984 before attending Pikes Peak College (Colorado Springs).
Along with running his own restaurant, Crazy Mike's, Michael owned and operated a Blimpie franchise in Colorado Springs and A-American Vending Services within the Southern Colorado area.
Along with a deep love for hosting friends and family for food and laughs, Michael is remembered for his quirky charm and deep compassion, always willing to help others before himself.
Services for a Celebration of Life ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17 at Romero Family Funeral Home in Pueblo. A private burial will be held at a later date within a family plot in Marion, Ind.
