Reba Irene Hodge, 75, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was born in Dayton and grew up in Sale Creek. Reba graduated from Sale Creek High School in 1964. She was a substitute teacher for Hamilton County Schools before working at the DMV in Chattanooga for many years. Reba was a member of Sale Creek Church of God. She loved people and enjoyed conversations with others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Sylvia Hodge; brother, Frank Hodge and husband, William Hodge.
Survivors are her children, Michael Hodge, Dana Britt (Bob), Andrea Hodge; grandchildren, Erin Hodge, Madilyn Hodge, Caroline Britt, Micah Hodge, Anna Britt, Kobe Landreth; siblings, Clarence Hodge (Marguerite), Doug Hodge (Sandra), Lorene Dunwoody, Donnie Hodge (Sandra), Howard Hodge and Trisha Womac (Blaine); many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Sale Creek Church of God with Bishop Terry Bolton officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday before the service at the church. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
