Robert D. "Bob" Hoffman, 90, died peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

He was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and West Virginia University, where he
was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. While at WVU, Bob met his future wife, Mary
Ardeth Jones of Beckley, WV. The two married shortly after college and moved to Italy,
where he served as First Lieutenant in the Army Signal Corps.

After returning to the United States, he worked at Mellon Bank. He later moved into
management consulting with Alexander Proudfoot Co. in Chicago, IL, Anthony B.
Cassidy Associates in Ridgefield, CT, and Magnetics Inc., later acquired by Spang &
Co, in Butler, PA. He became certified as a personnel consultant and established his
own firm, Robert D. Hoffman and Associates. After retirement, he took a position as
Manager at The Park Mansions, in Oakland, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard A. and H. Aline Hoffman of Mt.
Lebanon, PA

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ardeth (Jones) Hoffman and six children: Kathleen Hoffman, Robert D. Hoffman and his wife Dr. Rosana Eisenberg, Richard H. Hoffman, Jeffrey A. Hoffman and his wife Allison, Suzanne Meyer, and Todd Hoffman and his wife Deborah Brake, as well as his brother Donald Hoffman. He is survived by twelve beloved grandchildren: Laura Hoffman, Kathryn Crittenden, Marie Hoffman, John Crittenden, Ben Hoffman, Eva Hoffman, Sam Hoffman, Aidan Meyer, Elleanna Meyer, Peter Hoffman, Charlotte Brake-Hoffman, and Samantha Brake-Hoffman.
