Elmer T. Homsher, seventy three, 617 Bay Street, died at 7 p.m. yesterday at the home of his son, Samuel Homsher, 634 Manor street, where he was visiting. Death, according to Deputy coroner Dr. J.F. Trexler, was caused by heart trouble. He was a son of the late Jacob and Rachel Groff Homsher, and a member of the Faith Reformed church.
Besides his wife who was Louisa Evans before marriage, he is survived by these children: Effie, wife of Raymond Yeager, Samuel, Harry, William V., Frederick, Elmer F. and Elizabeth M., all of this city; Mary M. and John, at home; also a brother, State Senator John G. Homsher, of Strasburg.
Services will be held at the funeral parlors of Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 West Orange street, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, D.S.T., and at the Strasburg Mennonite church at 2:15 o'clock. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call at Groff's Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
