March 23, 2006 Rita M. Burt, 85, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday. Rita was a member of St. Peter's Church in Syracuse, and she volunteered for the Syracuse Meals on Wheels and University Hospital. She was most happy taking walks on the beach and feeding the seagulls while vacationing with family. Rita will be fondly missed by her nieces, Kathy and Susie, and her great-niece and nephew, Kelly and Jeff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, 709 James Street, Syracuse. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N.
