Joseph passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 62. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Albany, Louisiana. Joseph was a simple man that enjoyed the great outdoors by camping in his RV and riding around on his Harley Davidson. He took great pride in being a Scout Leader for over 10 years. His other hobbies include building toy car models and shooting guns. Being selfless, kind-hearted, charismatic, and loyal were characteristics that he was best known for. He was someone that would be there for you during the good and bad times and would do just about anything for those in need. His grandchildren and his family meant the absolute world to him and spending time with them were of great importance to him. Joseph was a doting husband, father and grandfather that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Latino; sons, Joseph Louis Perez (Meghan), Scott Perez (Diamond) and Nicholas Latino (Jarolyn); daughter, Wendi Tierney (Dyron); Father, Joseph Perez Jr.; sister, Becky Romig; grandchildren, Joseph William Perez, Ryder Perez, and Jayton Latino; niece, Gabrielle Lloyd; nephews, Eric Romig, Phillip Romig, Leaman Romig and many other nieces and nephews.

Joseph is preceded in death by his mother, Earllea Hoffstadt Perez and nephew, Christian Romig.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held in the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, 1190 Hwy 51 North, Ponchatoula, on Monday, December 6, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. The interment will follow at Hoffstadt Cemetery in Kentwood, Louisiana.
