Thomas F. Carr, 89, of Bloomfield, passed away on December 9, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ, he resided in Nutley and Lakewood. Thomas was the son of the late Earle C. and Mildred M. (Bidgood) Carr. Thomas was predeceased by his loving wife, J. Carole (Martin) Carr. He leaves behind his daughter Cynthia, and her husband Arnold, granddaughter, Allison Carrie and her husband Patrick, and a great-grandson, Cory, and grandson, Brendan Michael, his wife, Rebecca.

Thomas was a veteran in the U.S. Army, during the Korean war. He was an active member of the Copestone – Ophir Masonic Lodge, # 108, Kearny. Thomas retired as the owner of the Belleville Rest Home.

The funeral will be on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 8:30am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, N.J.

A funeral Mass of will be offered at Grace Episcopal Church, 200 Highfield Lane, Nutley N.J. at 9:30am.

The interment will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery, 851 Valley Road, Montclair, N.J.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 3-6pm.
