Suzanne Rickett Bellville
April 17, 1940 - December 8, 2021

Suzanne Rickett Bellville, age 81, passed away after a brief but fierce battle with pancreatic cancer in the early morning hours on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at her home in Newnan. She was born on April 17, 1940, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Sidney Rickett and Louisa Van Brunt Rickett.

Along with her parents, Suzanne is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bellville; daughter, Donna Lagasse; and siblings, Betty Bellville and Sid Rickett. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Gould and her husband Bert; grandchildren, Lee Gould (Jenni), Meghan Smith (Ronnie), Joey Gould (Heather); great grandchildren, Mathew, Peyton, Wade, Madelyn, Ellie, Wesley, Lizzy, Jake, Faith, Tucker and Billy.

Suzanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother to 3, and great grandmother to 11. She was married to Larry for 44yrs before he passed in 2012. She was a member at Parkwood Hills Baptist church in Decatur, Georgia until she and Larry moved to Newnan in 1995 to follow the grandkids. She was an active member at Grace Baptist Church in Newnan, Georgia. Suzanne played beautifully the piano and organ and was also a piano teacher for some time. She shared her love of the piano with her daughters Debbie and Donna who she also taught to play. Suzanne had a huge love for quilting and was an active member of the Sharpsburg Piecemakers in Sharpsburg, Georgia. She shared this passion with her family in the countless quilts she created in personalized detail for the loved one on the receiving end, as well as many others she created just because she enjoyed it so much. "Best Great Grandma Ever" doesn't come close to being enough. She loved spending time with her family and never turned down an invite for anything... cookouts & camping, pool time or sandcastles at the beach, dinner out or a quick cup of coffee. She was even known to take a ride in an off road vehicle or go tubing at the lake. She was the one to call for everything, and the one to go to for advice on anything at anytime. Her love for her God and her family was unfathomable.

The funeral service celebrating Suzanne's life is Monday, December 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, in Newnan with Pastor Brian Anderson and Pastor Chris Watson officiating.
