Joseph John Harris, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in Franciscan Health. He was born on February 23, 1935 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Raymond Wesley and Goldie Belle (Wiggins) Harris.
After completing high school and serving in the United States Army, Joe worked for General Motors for 40 years retiring from the inspection department. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge (both Speedway and Southport), the Scottish Rite and the Murat Shrine Temple.
Joe is survived by his brothers, Ralph (Lee) Harris and Ray (Donna) Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
No services will be held as were his wishes. Inurnment will take place in Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis.
