Marlene was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved and valued her family. She was an active member of the Church of Christ. Marlene loved crafts, decorating cakes, cooking, and watching Hallmark movies.
Marlene leaves behind her loving and devoted husband: Mr. Joseph Henry Colbert of Rickman; children: Diane (John) Cox of Flint, Michigan, Duane (Tami) Browning of Beaumont, Texas, Denise Browning of Woodstock, Georgia, Debra (Phillip) Shadduck of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Andrew (Brooke) Colbert of Dayton, Tennessee; step-children: Derek Colbert, Loren (Michelle) Colbert, both of Flint, Lyle Colbert of Louisville, Kentucky, and Ann Redman of Martinsville, Indiana; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Echo Rodrick of Salem, Ohio.
