Rodney Allen Williams, age 64, of Jenison, a faithful man of God, has fought the good fight, run his race, kept his faith, and has now been awarded his crown of righteousness on Monday, December 6, 2021 (2 Timothy 4:7-8). Rodney was a kind and loving husband, dad, and grandpa who dearly loved his family. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and had the ability to fix just about anything. Rodney enjoyed camping and embraced Sunday get-togethers with his family. He retired from Serviscreen Corporation, in Jenison, after many years of dedicated service. Rodney served his Lord at South Grandville CRC as an elder and deacon. Above all, his testimony and desire for others to know about Jesus was evident to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his dad, Jerry Williams; mother-in-law, Beverly Westveld; sister, Mary Talsma; sister-in-law, Terri Williams; brothers-in-law, Bernie Westveld, Kyle Wilson. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Bonnie (Westveld) Williams; children and grandchildren, Rachael and Nate Remijn (Khloe, Harper, Penelope), Bradley and Amanda Williams (Lucas, Jackson, Natalie), Stacy and Orrie Chaffin (Lincoln, Monroe, Walker); mother, Grace and Norm Ritzema; father-in-law, Burton Westveld; siblings, Dan and Jackie Williams, Tom Williams, Pam and Dan Mervau; brothers-in-law, Mark Talsma, Bruce Westveld; sisters-in-law, Brenda and Randy Goodyke, Becky Wilson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 11 a.m. at South Grandville Christian Reformed Church, 4130 Wilson SW, Grandville, with Rev. John Witvliet officiating. The burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
