A. Maxine Erb, 90, of Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at her home.
Born October 11, 1931 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Frances (Reed) Talen. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Hornberger.
Maxine is survived by her loving husband, Philip H. Erb whom she married on April 14, 1961; children, George D. Baughman and wife Debbie, of Reedsville, and William F. Baughman and wife Gail, of Stormstown; siblings, James Fraine and wife Paulene, of Belltown, Donna Baker, of Lewistown, and Arlene Hassinger and husband Bob, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Jeremiah Baughman and wife Rebecca, Katy Baughman, Doug Baughman, Nick Baughman, and Tom Baughman; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Maxine attended Ellen Chapel Church.
She enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also very involved with Child Evangelism and the Good News Club.
A memorial service in loving memory of Maxine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 18, 2021, at Ellen Chapel Church, 11764 Ferguson Valley Road Lewistown, PA 17044, with Pastor Mark Hill and Rev. William Baughman to officiate. There will be a visitation held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
