Peggy White, 87, of Farmington, Missouri, passed away December 6, 2021, surrounded by her family at Community Manor in Farmington. She was born December 30, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Harry and Edith (Emerson) Watson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Watson and Jack Watson.

Peggy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. She graduated from Missouri Baptist School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and received her BSN in nursing from Washington University School of Medicine. She enjoyed all areas of nursing, but especially enjoyed working in the newborn nursery at Lutheran Hospital. She later volunteered at the Farmington Ministerial Alliance. Peggy enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, buying and making handmade gifts for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bernard White; daughter, Cheryl Stevens and husband Vincent; son, Dale White and wife Kim; five grandchildren, Dustin (Autumn) Stevens, Bethany (Brian) Webb, Shane Stevens, Amanda (Jason) Vernoy, Nicole White; fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington, Missouri, with Rev. Greg Robinson officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
