Ms. Glennis S. Wheeley, age 90, of The Long Creek Community in Macon County, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at NHC Healthcare in Gallatin. Funeral services for Ms. Glennis Wheeley are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2 PM, from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 5 PM until 8 PM, and on Sunday, from 11 AM until service time 2 PM.

Ms. Glennis Wheeley was preceded in death by her Parents, Emmit Cecil Smith and Bonnie White Smith; Brother, Ferrell Smith; Sisters, Hilda Smith, and Iona Key; and Sister and Brother-in-Law, Vida and Clifton Wilson.

The family request donations be made to Brattontown Missionary Baptist Church or Long Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by;

Marilyn Wheeley

Sister-in-Law,
Katherine Smith

A host of nieces and nephews and extended family also survives.
