Miguel Martinez, 20 of Forest, MS passed away Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at his residence in Forest, MS. He was born Thursday, July 26, 2001 in Jackson, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest, MS. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church in Forest, MS. Burial will follow in Forest City Cemetery in Forest, Mississippi. Fr. Adolfo Suarez Pasillas will officiate the services. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Forest is in charge of arrangements.
He enjoyed playing video games, and a great brother to his sisters and brother. He was hard working, a very caring person to everyone around him. He was a hero to his younger siblings. He loved everyone he came into contact with and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He donated his bone marrow to his younger brother and dedicated his time to him. He was a good role model to all his siblings. He was never a follower; but a leader. He had a compassionate heart, and was willing to help anyone who needed it and never expected anything in return. The most important thing in his life was his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nestora Rodriquez.
Survivors include his parents, Miguel A. and Nicolasa (Sanchez) Martinez of Forest, MS; brother, Angel Martinez of Forest, MS; sisters, Miriam Sanchez of Forest, MS and Love Martinez of Forest, MS and Hillary Martinez of Forest, MS; grandparents, Eleuterio and Guillermina (Santiago) Martinez;and grandfather, Agustin Sanchez.
Pallbearers will be Miguel Martinez, Edgar Martinez, Efren Sanchez, Jorge Martinez, Hector Martinez, and Cesar Martinez.
