James R. Webster, age 79 of Elkland passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Born February 10, 1942 in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Webster and Betty (Burgess) Druetto. Jim married Rosalind Marcy on Oct. 4, 1961 and they have enjoyed 60 years together. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1961 – 1965. Jim worked for Jim's Esso Station in Elkland until he began farming. He also worked at Toshiba for five years but farming was his passion. Jim loved woodworking, flying; he was a student pilot since the age of 16 and spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalind; two daughters, Shawn Jelliff of Elkland and Sherri Main of Osceola; grandchildren, Jen Mitchell of Carlisle, Lisa and Marvin Reid of Manchester, CT, Stefan and Alyssa Main of Osceola and Skylar and Tyler Trimble of Lawrenceville; great grandchildren, Taylor, Cori and Kevin Mitchell, Marvin Jr., Lucas, Luna and Nova Reid, Oliver Main and Baby Trimble due in February; five brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son in law, Shawn L. Main. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Sunday, 2:00 – 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, 11:00 AM with Rev. William O'Neil officiating. Burial will be in Butler Hill Cemetery.
