Arturo Corando De La CRUZ, Sr., 65, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1102 Archer, Spearman, Texas. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Arturo was born May 1, 1956 in Alice, Texas to Julio De La CRUZ and Angelita Solis De La CRUZ. He had an amazing worth ethic and enjoyed being a truck driver for Nexoil Energy.
Arturo enjoyed working on cars, was a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan. In fact it was his wish that all funeral attendees wear Dallas Cowboy attire to his funeral, please honor his wish.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carmela; three daughters, Naomi, Debbie, Cindy; brother, Armando De La CRUZ, Felipe De La CRUZ; sisters, Sylvia SALINAS, Maria CHAPA, and Isabell PACHEO.
Survivors include his wife, Betty of Stinnett; son Arturo De La CRUZ Jr. and wife Amanda of Stinnett; stepchildren, James DAVIDSON of Stinnett, Renee HAANEN of Stinnett; four granddaughters, Taylor, Kayleigh, Kynlee, Kyra; step-grandson, Isaac DAVIDSON; brothers, Julio De La CRUZ and wife Eva of Edinburgh, Texas, Daniel De La CRUZ of Lubbock; Santiago De La CRUZ of Amarillo, Israel De La CRUZ and wife Kathy of Perryton; sisters, Olga JAQUES and husband Bill of Perryton, Sulema CHAPA of Amarillo, Sara VELA and husband Lucio of Waka, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
