Marcus Doyle Brown was born November 11, 1950, at Florence Nightengale Hospital in Dallas, TX to Floyd Olen and Dorothy Jean Brown who preceded him in death. He passed in his home surrounded by family on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 70 years in Tyler, TX. He is survived by his wife Deborah Weitner Brown. He and Deborah had two sons - Michael and Troy, one daughter - Christy, two daughters-in-law – Christi and Ann, and one son-in-law - Jay, 11 grandchildren – Kirk, Kelsey, Kami, Krystle, Jacob, Faith, Gideon, Josiah, Micah, Anna, Elijah, and 2 great-grandchildren – Markslee and Zayden. He is also survived by his two brothers Mike and Rick, their wives, and kids, his brothers-in-law, their wives, and children, and his sister-in-law, her husband, and their children.

Marcus was man of many talents. Pastor, Bible teacher, business owner, federal fiduciary for veterans are a few of the occupations he held during his life. Anyone that knew him knew that he loved to sing, fish, cook, laugh, hang loose in Kauai, and travel with his wife. He had a passion for God and people. He spread joy, wisdom and encouragement to everyone he encountered.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved his appearing." -- 2 Timothy 4:7-8
