Jonell Anderson Nixon, 75 of Willis passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was born in Longview, Texas on September 23, 1946 to Arlin and Florence Anderson.
Jonell graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas with a Master's Degree in Chemistry. Then 1986 she began her own company, Certified Coating Inspection Services, Inc. and has served the Montgomery County, other states, and other countries ever since. She was an instructor for the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. Jonell or Honey Josie as her loved ones called her enjoyed cooking, especially making her own spicy spaghetti sauce. She loved to tend to her herb garden, dancing and listening to music, fishing, and traveling. She loved to read, always expanding her mind.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Roy Zboyan, children Tyson Nixon, Noel David Nixon, Holly Anne Lee and husband Kevin, and Todd Zboyan and wife Wendy, grandchildren Payton Snow Nixon, Kaleb Nixon, Makenna Anne Lee, Jacob Tanner Lee, and Lilli Anne Zboyan, sister Judy Anderson Gordon and husband Ken, brother David Arlin Anderson and wife Marsha and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jonell was preceded in death by her daughter Tully Snow Nixon, sister Jan Anderson, and her parents.

An inurnment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Memory Park Cemetery.
