A native of Haywood County, Pearl was the daughter of the late Charles Brenson Rose and Alvie Messer Rose. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hugh Franklin; daughter, Mary Evelyn Franklin and siblings, Bob Rose, Lawrence Rose, Charlie Rose, Macie Birch, and Lizzie Burgess. Pearl was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved front porch sitting and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Pearl's memory are her children, Benny Franklin, Reva (James) Rathbone, and Linda Franklin; grandchildren, Angie Jenkins, Lee Green, Carrie Clements, Chris Williams, Brian Franklin, and Elaine Franklin; 11 great grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Sugar Cove Cemetery off of Hemphill with the Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating.
