Mike also leaves behind his wife of forty years, Sylvia; three sons, Richard (Stephanie), James (Nicole), and Timothy; as well as two daughters, Lynntina, and Rhonda (Norman). Mike also has twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Mike was known to be a huge fan of all sports teams in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; where he was raised. Especially the Pittsburgh Pirates, just like his father was. It was also well known that he lovedmodel trains, and always had an interest in anything and everything railroad related.
Mike had an outgoing, loving, kind personality. Everyone who met him quickly became friends. Due to his warm disposition and kind heart; Mike was welcome anywhere and everywhere he went with open arms.
Mike and Sylvia met in November of 1980, at his daughter's birthday party; and began dating a week later. Their love for each other grew fast and strong. After their first date, he took the time to stop and get donuts for Sylvia's three children before taking her home. He proposed and married his wife by March of 1981. While they fell in love fast, there was never a day that anyone could doubt the love they have for each other. Every day of their lives together, they have shown the true meaning of what beingsoulmates mean.
When they were married, Mike took his two children and Sylvia's three children, and they became one big happy extended family. At this time he became the father of all five children. His love for his family has never wavered, and he has taught his children that you should never be afraid to show their love. Mike raised all his children to show love, kindness, and strength in everything they do. He taught them the importance of family, and to always be there for each other.
