Norma Lois Butler Carroll, 84, of Bladenboro, NC, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 16, 1937 to the late Clarence Butler and the late Lettie Currie Butler.
Norma was a very special lady to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She spent her years as a homemaker and a seamstress, and she enjoyed every minute of it. She also specialized in crocheting. She loved spending time with her husband and her family and working in the yard. Norma also enjoyed going on various trips and she especially loved being at her beach house in Oak Island.
Along with her parents, Norma was preceded in death by two infant daughters, one who was named Sonja Jennene Carroll FAG# 96600087 her sister, Sybil Ward FAG# 23974808 and her niece, Felicia Callahan.
Norma is survived by her husband of 66 years, Henry Carroll of the home; a special niece, Lisha Walters (Wayne) of Lumberton, NC; a special nephew, Craig Callahan of Bladenboro, NC; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Zion's Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Pastor Bob Jordan officiating.
Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Mausoleum, 5190 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
