He was baptized in the Methodist Church and was a member of Ernest W. Armstrong Military Lodge No. 145 F. & A.M. (Prince Hall Affiliated) in Berlin, Germany. In his spare time, Curtis loved fishing of all types.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Durham and Curtis Durham, and his brother Anthony Durham.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home.
