Born in Niskayuna, NY. Leslie was the daughter of the late Charles and Jacqueline (Johnson) Kenny.
A graduate of Linton High School, Leslie went on to receive both her Bachelors and Master degrees at the State University of New York at Albany.
A former teacher in the Scotia Glenville District School System, Leslie retired as a high school English teacher after over 25 years with the district. She was a member of NYSUT and a member of the VEGAS GIRLS.
Leslie is survived by her children, Jasonna Terry, Eliza Daniels (Ne:Terry), Joanelle Terry, Amanda Terry (Louis) and William Terry, her beloved sister, Joan (Kenny) Mannix, her 23 grandchildren, Temu, Tiara, Adonis, Neajee, Enia, Seth, Cassius, Will (Tanika), Michael Jalen, Kasean, Jade, Moshé, Brian, Shawn, Nassia, Carl, Josiah, Gregory, Nehemiah, Myla, Augustine, Robin and Lucianna, her 5 great grandchildren, her 3 nieces, Sherell, Summer and Symone Esq., and her brothers, Robert and Shawn Kenny.
A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on "Wacky" Wednesday December 15th from 5 to 7 pm .
A time for sharing memories will begin at 7 pm.
A Scholarship is being established in Leslie's name For Scotia Glenville Schools.
