Born March 1, 1942 in Salt Lake City to George and Dolores McLeod. He was the middle of three children with his two sisters, Elaine and Linda. As a young man he earned money delivering news papers while riding his scooter and working at the Salt Lake Cemetery. He attended West High School where he met the love of his life Linda and they married the summer after high school. He attended the U of U and then started a career as a mechanical engineer. Their family grew as they were blessed with two children, Carrie and Kirk. He worked as a mechanical engineer for many years before becoming an energy analysis for Granite school district until he retired. He and Linda recently celebrated their 60 wedding anniversary.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the cabin. But his greatest love was being with his wife and family wherever that took them.
Preceded in death by his parents George and Dolores McLeod and a sister, Elaine Davis.
Survived by his wife, Linda McLeod and two children, Kirk (Shelly) McLeod , Carrie (Stewart) Isaac, 5 grand children and a sister Linda (Tom) Childs.
