Calvin Gibson, 65, of Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his residence. Born February 1, 1956, in Pine Top, Kentucky, he was the son of Robert Gibson and Polly Craft. He married Sherry Lett and she survives.

Calvin worked as a truck driver for many years.

Surviving is his wife, Sherry; children, Donnie Lee Gibson, Adam Gibson, Brandon Stone, Julie Lents, Nicholas Lett, and India Arvin; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother, Monroe Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kevin Dean Gibson Phillips; and 2 brothers, James Gibson and Samuel Gibson.

Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Queen-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Committal will follow at the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Queen-Lee Chapel to assist the family with expenses.
