She was born May 5, 1930 a daughter of the late William L. Stallard and Minnie B. Stallard in Ermine, Kentucky. Lois was a graduate at Morehead University where she got a degree in education. She was a retired school teacher of 39 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Efford Adams; son, Kevin Adams; brothers, Earl, W. L. JR, Cecil, Paul, Herbert, Bennette, Sanford; one sister, Eva Dale.
She is survived by one daughter, Marsha Adams of Johnson City, Tenn.; one sister, Susan Jones and husband Glen of Mt. Orab, Ohio; and one brother, Kirby Stallard of Illinois.
The funeral service for Mrs. Adams will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Austin Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. prior to the service. Entombment will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Mountain View Cemetery.
