He was born in Luzerne, PA on February 23, 1934, a son of the late Michael and Anna (Palsa) Mizenko.
He served in the Air Force and was in the Korean War – he was stationed in England where he met the love of his life Audrey. He then worked as a supervisor for Cyanamid for over thirty-eight years.
He is survived by his son, Scott Mizenko and his wife, Sandi; his daughter Michele Novak and her husband, Thomas; his grandchildren, Tyler Mizenko (Michela), Madison Milslagle (Zachary), Megan Drew (Ryan); and his great granddaughters, Harper and Hadley.
He enjoyed watching his Notre Dame Football and New York Mets. He also never missed one of the grandchildren's sporting events. He loved his wife Audrey of 64 years deeply along with his family.
Interment in the In Memoriam Cemetery will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext.
