Charles was born on March 9, 1931 to David Howard Williford and Bessie Bell Williford in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Shreveport.
Charles was a resident of Shreveport and a supervisor for Riley-Beaird, Inc. before retiring. He graduated from Byrd High School and LSUS. He was a Mason and served at one point as Master of the Lodge. His favorite pastime was playing golf. He also enjoyed the excitement of shopping garage sales to find a treasure at a good price. He loved to go out to eat for fun, but top of his list was spending time with his precious family. He adored his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an amazing husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years, Barbara Ann "Patsy" Williford, and his best buddy, his dog, Dexter.
