Clifford Spencer, 66, of Colony, Kansas, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at his home.
He was born May 9, 1941, in Iola, Kansas, the son of Elvin Robert and Alma Elizabeth (Jones) Spencer. He grew up in the Welda, Kansas area.
On Nov. 30, 1960, he was married to Patty Walden in Iola.
She survives.
He lived in Iola and Welda before moving to his farm near Colony in 1969. He farmed and did bulldozer work in the Colony area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting.
Other survivors include a son, Mark and his financee, Susan, Iola, KS; a daughter, Stacy West and her husband, Ronald, J. Jr., Iola, KS; three brothers, Jimmie and his wife, Susie, New Strawn, KS, Dale and his wife, Velda, Mena, AR, and Wayne, Irving, TX; a sister, Ann Harrison and her husband, Neil, Grapevine, TX; a brother-in-law, Larry Walden and his wife, Beverly, Iola, KS; three grandchildren; Robert West, Nicole West and Jaedyn Spencer; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be at Mont Ida Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in the Colony Cemetery, Colony, Kansas. The Rev. Kenneth Davidson will officiate.
