A Celebration of Jackie Charleen Morton's Life, age 88, of Nederland, Texas, will be 10am, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas with burial following at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Harrisburg, Texas.
Visitation will be from 5~8pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas.
Jackie passed away on December 6, 2021 in Nederland, Texas surrounded by her loving family. A lifetime resident of Nederland, Texas her life's passion was taking care of her family.
Jackie is survived by her sons, Terry Morton and wife Tammy of Nederland, Texas, Curtis Morton and wife Tammy of Lumberton, Texas, David Morton and wife Melissa of Jasper, Texas, Karl Morton and wife Laurie of Nederland, Texas and Larry Morton and wife Kristen of LaBelle, Texas, grandchildren, Jessica Morton, Daniel Morton and wife Shelby, Justin Morton, Jase Morton and wife Emily, Bailey Morton, Austin Morton, Victoria Morton, Emily Washburn and husband Brandon, Melanie Morton, Valerie Morton, Wyatt Morton, Alexander Morton, Sarah Morton and Garrit Morton, great-grandchildren, Cason Washburn, Eleanor Morton, Nolan Morton and two on the way and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Myrtle Cassels, her husband, Edisol Lee Morton and her brother, Henry Wayne Cassels.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
