Age 96, of Bethel Park, on Monday, December 6, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (Lawless) Snyder; son of the late Leo J. and Rose Snyder; brother of the late Leo Snyder. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the "Salt of The Earth Trust"established by the Fort and Snyder families in memory of Mary Jane Snyder. The trust will benefit the housekeeping, kitchen and maintenance staff of Deer Valley YMCA Camp. Donations can be made payable to the "Salt of The Earth Trust" and sent c/o Community Bank, 65 W. Chestnut Street, Washington, PA 15301.
