Was also Chairman of the Board of Assessors for many years and Mayor of Georgetown from incorporation until several years ago. He leaves to mourn his wife, Belle, a daughter of John Ross, publisher, and three daughters: Mrs. Frank MacDonald, Georgetown, Jean in Charlottetown and Estelle at home. He leaves also two sisters Mrs. Tapper and Miss Hannah
