Gary Emerson Wright, age 83 of Tipton, MI passed away and went to be with his loving wife Alice (Powell) Wright on November 26, 2021. Gary was born September 3, 1938 to Cecil and Mary (Baker) Wright in Adrian, Michigan. He married Alice Belle Powell September 7, 1957 and had 2 sons Hal Wright of Tipton, MI and Brent Wright of Sylvania, OH. Gary worked at American Chain & Cable for many years. He later worked at and retired from General Motors Adrian plant as a journeyman electrician. He also worked many years as a Lenawee County Reserve Sheriff Deputy. Gary enjoyed fishing and camping, especially in the upper peninsula, his entire life. He also enjoyed building things for his wife and family, spending time with his family, and generally fixing or tinkering with anything and everything. Gary was preceded in death by his wife Alice and parents Cecil and Mary. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Forrest Wright, Dean Wright, and his sister, Jean (Wright) Haydo.

Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI. Viewing & visitation will precede the service on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
